Turkey and Kazakhstan Signed an Agreement on Electronic Customs Information Exchange Aiming to Reduce Control Times and Increase Efficiency

In accordance with the provisions of this agreement, which was signed with the aim of reducing the duration and increasing the efficiency of customs control through the electronic exchange of information on goods and vehicles transported between Turkey and Kazakhstan, the customs administrations of the parties will determine the list of authorized persons responsible for preliminary information exchange and responsible for conducting direct contacts. In addition, the technical specifications for the exchange of information will be prepared, and after the implementation of the pilot project, regular exchange of information between the customs authorities of the parties will be launched.
