Alarko Holding to Invest 650 Million Dollars in Kazakhstan’s Agriculture Sector: Agreement Signed with Kazakh Invest to Accelerate Projects

Alarko Holding will invest 650 million dollars in Kazakhstan’s agricultural sector over the next five years, building greenhouse facilities on 500 hectares of land. The Memorandum of Understanding signed today between the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan and Alarko Holding within the scope of the investment cooperation, which is progressing with the support of Kazakh Invest National Company, will accelerate the realization of the projects. According to the Memorandum, the construction of greenhouse facilities will start by the end of 2023, and the first projects will be completed in the summer of 2024. Alarko representatives will visit the southern regions of Kazakhstan to select the most suitable location for the new greenhouses. Once the site has been selected and the project has been finalized, a Roadmap will be drawn up to define the duration and phases of the project. Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Agriculture has expressed its readiness to provide all necessary support and conditions.
