“One of the main priorities in this direction is the creation of the Turkic Investment Fund. At the informal summit of the Organization on March 31, 2021, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the need to accelerate work on the creation of the Turkic Investment Fund on the principle of equal contribution and equal voting rights. The agreement on the establishment of the Fund was signed within the framework of the extraordinary summit of the Council of CIS Heads of State held on March 16 this year. The Turkic Investment Fund is the first joint financial institution for the economic integration of the Turkic world. The aim of the Fund is to support the economic development of the member states of the Organization by expanding intra-regional trade and supporting economic activity.”
